Celebrating my Birthday with my Family

Saturday night we celebrated my 23rd birthday with my family. We went to Emery's on Water Street. My family loves that restaurant. Since it was my birthday I got Spumoni! Yummy! After dinner we went to Baskin Robbin's and got an ice cream cake. We watched Baby's Day out while eating the cake, that movie is so much cuter when you have a baby. Today while Paul and I were getting ready to go out to eat with my parents I decided to put Landon in his crib for the first time. I attached his toy mirror to the crib so he could check himself out and try to grab at the toys on it! He was successful in doing so! He is too cute!

So I realized...

So I realized I never posted pictures of  the toy box Paul and my Dad made for Landon, along with the dresser that my dad refinished for Landon's room. This dresser was my mom's then mine, now Landon's.

I love Landon's nursery! Before he arrived I would just go in his room, sit and stare at everything  anxiously awaiting for his arrival!

New Couches!

On May 10, we ordered some new couches, a sofa, loveseat, chair, and ottoman to be exact. They came today! I'm so excited! They are so comfy! Getting new couches really put us in a mood to clean! So, we vacumed, shampooed the carpets, moped the floors, cleaned the bathroom downstairs, dusted,  and cleaned the kitchen.  I just love having a clean home! Especially for Sundays!

Fun Friday

Yesterday was a fun day! I got a phone call from my friend Emily inviting me to lunch with her and Justina.  It was really fun to get together with the girls and all of our CUTE kids. We were all in the same ward in Provo, and we are all living here in Vegas/Henderson for the time being. We enjoyed a yummy lunch at the Olive Garden!

After lunch, our little family went to a BBQ at my parents friends house! It was yummy and I ate tons of stuff I shouldn't have! After the BBQ we went to a band concert at Basic (my old high school). My brother was performing with the students. Here's a picture of Landon with Uncle Ross. Landon always has his arms the way they are in the picture below. It reminds me of superman, so I call him my superbaby! 

After the concert we went back to the BBQ for a while, again I ate more food that I shouldn't have! Oh well! Here's a picture of Landon with a bottle of root beer. He kept licking the edges of the bottle...we probably shouldn't have let him, but we did. 

I finally found a swimsuit! This is what I chose!  I found it at J Crew. I ordered it online...So I hope it fits! What do ya think?! I picked black because black is slimming...and I still have some baby weight to lose!
