Play Date and Craft Day

On Friday my friend Katie came over with her son Mason. Mason is a St. Patty's day baby and Landon is an April Fools baby, so they are very close in age. They stared at each other a bit, and played with their own toys. At the end of the day we decided we had to take pictures! it was so fun to see Katie again, we were neighbors for years! Thanks Katie and Mason for coming over! We had a great time!
Here's the boys!

This is what we made! So cute for Halloween!

Exer Saucer

After tummy time, we decided to bring out a really fun toy for Landon, his Exer Saucer. He loved it! It lights up, plays music, and has tons of toys on it. What more could a kid ask for!? There's one toy on there that he gets frustrated with! It's so funny to watch! Landon is really starting to develop such a fun personality! He is such a huge blessing in our family! Paul and I are so excited to watch him learn and grow more in so many ways.

Playing with feet and tummy time

Last Wednesday we laid Landon down for tummy time. He was doing so good at holding his head up. We laid him on his back and he discovered his new favorite toy, his feet. He loves to grab his feet now, even when he's being fed, he'll grab his feet. Oh what a cute little boy! We love him so much!

Rice Cereal

Yesterday Landon had his 4 month appt! Here are his stats:
Height: 24.5 inches, 25-50%
Weight: 15.2 lbd, 50%
Head: 41 cm, 25%
The doctor also said we could start introducing Landon to solids, starting with rice cereal. So I went to the grocery store right after the appointment to buy some. We were so excited to feed it to him, but he didn't really like it that much. He didn't realize it was food. He just was screaming once he got really hungry! So we quit giving him the rice cereal, and gave him a bottle. Here are a few pics from his first feeding!

Michigan Trip

On July 24, my mom, dad, Landon, my parents dog Seamus, and I left for Michigan to spend a couple of weeks with family. It was a very busy trip, but lots of fun! We drove 2 days straight until we ended up in Indiana. We stayed there for 2 nights. My dad's Aunt Alice was getting married, so we went to her wedding. Indiana was beautiful! It was so green! I loved it....Nevada is so not green....I hate it! Anyways, we went to Michigan afterwards and hung out with family. I have lots of family there, and we were able to see everyone. We stayed with my Aunt and Uncle for 2 nights. We had so much fun. Their house is amazing, they pretty much made the whole thing themselves!  They have a pond out on their land, so we rode around it on a paddle boat and Paul went fishing. We also went to Mackinac Island. It's an Island that has no cars! Everyone who lives there gets around on horses, bikes or foot! We also visited my Grandma Nancy and great Aunt Shirley. They built their house themselves too! By saying they built their houses I'm talking about cutting the trees down, then cutting the wood the way they want it! It's awesome! And they have the greatest garden! We rode their 4 wheeler as well...I love quads! I want some one day! Then we visited my Uncle Neil and his girlfriend Lori. We had lunch with them and visited for a little while. We then finished out our trip at my grandma and grandpas. They live at Higgens Lake. They are just a few houses away from the Lake! We went out on the boat everyday! Here are some pictures from our trip! They are a little out of order...oh well!
This is Landon at my great Aunts wedding.

This is Landon in a princess pull ups diaper! I forgot my diapers at my grandparents house, and the closest store was 20 minutes away, so I had to make do with what was around my aunts house! He has on a little swimmers diaper to help hold up the pull up diaper and absorb the pee! The night before he had on only a little swimmers and he was wet head to toe! It was a disaster!
Here's Landon in the baby swing! He loved it!
Here's our little family at Mackinac City.
Here's Landon playing with his cousin Janae.

Heres Landon in the Lake, on a floaty. We put his bumbo in there so he could sit up. We love bumbo!

This is Landon at the end of a very fun, yet exhausting trip! he traveled so well! We drove just over 5,000 miles that trip, and he barely fussed!

Baby Quilt

When I was in Utah my friend Lisa gave me this beautiful quilt that she made for Baby Landon! I absolutely love it! Thank You so much Lisa for all of the hard work you put into making this quilt for Landon! It is just darling!

Texas Trip

After going to Utah, Landon and I flew out to visit Paul again! It was exciting because I wasn't planning on visiting him twice, but there was so much to do in Texas, we had to go back!

This is Paul in his Army uniform.
Our first couple of days there, Paul was sick, so we didn't really do much. One night though, we did go swimming. It was Landon's first time in a swimsuit, and first time in a pool. He looked kind of confused when we put him in. First of all, the water was kind of cold, and second of all. it's so much bigger than a bath tub. He didn't really kick his legs like I thought he would. He just looked very content the whole time.
Here's Landon in his swimsuit. How cute is he?!
First time in the pool.

On Saturday we went to this animal park. We drove our car through the park, and it was like an African safari, in Texas. We got bags of food, and we would stick our hands out with the food, and the animals, for the most part would come up and eat the food from our hands. It was lots of fun.
This is one of the Zebras. I think this is a great picture.
This is me feeding a Zebra...they have big, scary teeth!
Here's Paul feeding some goats!
After the animal park, we went to this amazing outlet mall and shopped around for a little bit. After that, we went back to the hotel and went to bed. Sunday, we went to church and just hung out with each other until my flight left.
Here's Paul and Me at the airport before my flight left.
