11 Weeks to go!
Yay! Today marks week 29 of my pregnancy which means 11 weeks to go! We are so excited for little Landon to arrive! As most of you know, it took about a year and 8 months to get pregnant. It was really hard on me, there was one point in time where all of my friends who wanted to be pregnant were pregnant, but me. The summer was hard on me because of all the married couples we worked with, I was the only wife who either wasn't pregnant, or didn't have a kid already. But then, on August 15th, after a company dinner, I decided to buy pregnancy test #30...or so! I had a feeling I was pregnant....but I always thought that! We were hanging out with our friends Adam and Lisa that night after the dinner. I told them I had bought another pregnancy test. I said, "It will probably be a negative, so I'm not sure if I'm even going to take it." They told us if we took it and it was a positive we'd better go back and tell em'. So, we got back to our apt....just past midnight, and I took the test. I looked at the stick, and for the first time ever I saw TWO lines! I was jumping up and down....then I had to relook at the box and make sure two lines meant what I thought it meant! It did! We ran back to Adam and Lisa's apt and knocked loudly on the door....woke up their little one, and showed them the stick! I was so excited that night I couldn't sleep! I was thinking about baby names, the nursery, clothes....anything baby related...I thought about! I wanted to tell my parents early in the morning....so Paul and I drove to their side of town and told them around 7am! Needless to say, I had 3 hrs of sleep that night! This pregnancy has been great! I haven't had any morning sickness, or sickness at all really....(except when we were in Provo last week....that was from lack of sleep!)I don't get moody, I haven't gained too much weight, and my boobs are the biggest they've ever been! HAHA! Paul is in love with my tummy, he sometimes jokes about how I'll have to have another one soon! Paul and both sides of our family have been very supportive and helpful throughout the pregnancy. I feel so blessed to have such a great husband, great family, and great friends! I also feel so blessed that I am soon going to be a mother. I feel that motherhood is the greatest blessing, we as women have been given. Although Landon is not here yet, he brings me so much joy. I love feeling him kick and move, and it's even more fun to watch! Heavenly Father truly has blessed us with someone special!

The Lanier Family
Hello friends and family,
We have finally gotten around to creating a blog. We have been up to a lot lately. Paul has been busy with medical school, and I have been nannying for a family that is in our ward. We are excited for our little boy who will arrive around April 15th. His name is going to be Landon Wayne Lanier. We can't wait for him to come. Paul and I are currently serving in the nursery at church. It is tiring at times, especially being pregnant, but we love it. We love hanging our with friends and family in our free time.
