I finally found a swimsuit! This is what I chose!  I found it at J Crew. I ordered it online...So I hope it fits! What do ya think?! I picked black because black is slimming...and I still have some baby weight to lose!

Utah trip

Friday was official...Paul was done with his first year of Med school! YAY! Right when he got home we packed up and left to Utah for a week long trip! It was very much needed!

Here is a picture of Landon in the car, it was his first road trip! He did very well!

On Saturday morning we purchased American Idol tickets...YAY, then we went rock climbing and had a BBQ with our friends. It was at The Moulten's house. The Toronto's and The Clary's were there, and we brought our friends Adam and Lisa and their little boy, Zack. It was fun seeing people from our Provo ward, and the food was delicious! Here is a picture of Landon and me at the BBQ. 

Sunday we went to church, and Adam made us a yummy dinner! Steak, corn on the cob, potatoes and salad. He also made this yummy garlic butter that was so tasty on the steak, corn and potatoes! YUMMM!!! After dinner we went to our friends Jeremy and Amandas house. Paul got to play wii with everyone, I was nursing Landon almost the whole time. When we got back to our friends house we  played Ticket to Ride.  I now have a new favorite game.  

On Monday Lisa and I went shopping while the guys played golf. We went to University Mall, Gatehouse and Riverwoods. We ended our shopping by meeting up with the guys and eating Tucano's for dinner...YUMMY!!!! After dinner we went and looked at the most beautiful houses I have ever seen. We got home we played Settlers of Catan....I lost but it was still fun....I couldn't win any games, it was so depressing!

Tuesday was fun. We went to Thai Pan and I got a few Fourth of July decorations, then we went to Salt Lake to go to the Gateway Mall. We didn't stay long because I HAD to get back for American Idol. We watched American Idol, it was great! Loved it! After Idol we learned a new game, Pirates Cove. It was confusing at first, but once we got the hang of it, it was quite fun! I  lost though...surprise, surprise!

I finally was able to catch Landon smiling while I had my camera out! I love his smiles! 

On Wednesday Landon had his first cold. He was bundled up and laying by a humidifier most of the day =(. Paul took care of Landon for a little bit so I could go to the Gatehouse with Lisa. I just had to get these cute cupcake birthday plates! Then we went to target. I picked up some motrin. I had the worst headache of my life! When we got back I took a long nap! Poor Paul, he was stuck taking care of Landon and me. what a good husband and father. I woke up just in time for the American Idol Finale! I loved it...as usual! I thought for sure that Archuleta had it in the bag, but I was wrong! David Cook won! I think he's great as well! So I was happy with the outcome! Aftter Idol,  we played Pirates Cove again. I lost! Then we played Ticket to Ride, and I finally won a game! Woo hoo!

Our trip was so much fun! Thanks so much Adam and Lisa for letting us stay with you guys! And for being such great friends! 

Here is a picture of Uncle Ross and Landon. Ross had last Friday off due to bad weather, and my parents were out of town...so he decided to come and hang out with us for the day. We played Wii, watched Alvin and The Chimpmunks, and I made him yummy dinner. 

6 week check up!

Landon's Dr had a family emergency when Landon was supposed to have his one month check up! So he had it at 6 weeks! Here's his stats!

Weight:8lbs 14oz- 12.47 percentile

Height: 20 3/4 inches long- 7.06 percentile

Head: 14 1/4 inches- 5.94 percentile

He's growing up so fast! On Friday he will experience his first road trip! We are heading up to Provo for about a week! Paul is done with his 1st year of med school on Friday, so we are leaving town the second he gets home to celebrate! We are curious to see how 

Landon will do on his first road trip! He usually falls asleep the second he gets in the car and will stay asleep for at least 3hrs...so we'll see! We are staying with our friends Adam and Lisa and their little one, Zack. We are planning on rock climbing with the Moultens and having a bbq later on with them, The Clary's and the Toronto's! It will be fun to see everyone again! It has been so long! Sometimes I really miss Wyview and living so close to so many friends.  Also on our trip we are planning on going to Tucano's....Paul got his buy one get one free gift card for his b-day, so Tucano's is a must! I'm also on the hunt for  a cute modest swimsuit while we are there! Hopefully I will be in luck! I know I want to go to Roberts....because it's my favorite craft store ever, and ikea...gotta love ikea! ooh and the Gatehouse, and Cozy, and Downeast...I really miss Utah!  We aren't really sure what else we want to do....we are just so excited to leave Vegas for a week! It's our first trip since having little Landon!

Best moment of the day

I just experienced the best moment of my day! I was holding Landon, I looked down at him and smiled...He smiled right back at me! He is the most precious little boy! I love him so much!

Paul's Birthday, Landon's Blessing, Baby Pics, Decorating, and Mother's Day

I apologize in advance, this post is long...I got really behind! Sunday, May 4, was Paul's birthday and Landon's baby blessing. It was so nice that both events were on the same day. Because of the blessing, we had family in town, and Paul got to celebrate his birthday with them. Here's the cake I made...It's a giant cupcake....with LOTS of candles...haha! I love you honey!

On Saturday, April 26,  we had Landon's newborn pictures taken! We got them back yesterday. Here are my favorites!

So, since we got Landon's picture's back, I decided to go to Michael's, buy black frames, and redecorate a little...go figure! Here's what I did!

My first Mother's Day was perfect, even though Landon exploded out of his diaper all over his church outfit, blanket, and carseat! It was kind of a good laugh, but it wasn't fun cleaning him or his stuff off! Anyways we started the morning off at church, Paul and I were too tired to do breakfast! Church was great! Sacrament meeting had the talks on Motherhood, like usual. The last speaker said the word "boobie" instead of "boo-boo," it was so funny!!! I really enjoyed Relief Society. Our lesson was on the different types of mothers that there are. Many different types of mothers bore their testimonies about their experiences as mothers. The thought of Landon growing up and getting older seemed so sad to me, I wanted him to be a baby forever! But', after hearing all of these women speak, it made me excited for him to grow up and learn and experience new things. It was a really wonderful lesson! After church we came home and I opened presents that Paul got me!  He was good to me...what can I say...he knows what I like! 

He got me a beautiful necklace and a baby rattle. It was so creative! He tied the rattle with a ribbon around the roses! It looked so cute!!! After presents, we took a nap. When we woke up I made desert and dinner. I decided to cook for my mom for mother's day! I made her favorite dinner and desert...she loved it. We hung out with my parents for a while, and that was our day! Paul is now studying, and I'm blogging while nursing Landon....talented I know...j/k. Here's a pic of Landon and me on my first mother's day! I love him so much!  He means the world to me! I know I've only been a mother a little over a month, I love it! I love everything about it! I am so glad that Heavenly Father finally decided to bless us with a child, and I must say, this child is perfect. I love everything about him! I love waking up in the morning and looking at him knowing that he is my son, and he will be...forever!

YAY! Disneyland!

I'm sooo excited! Our friends Adam and Lisa invited us to go to Cali with them next month! It's going to be a blast! We are going to the Beach, Balboa Island, Fashion Island, and the happiest place on earth...Disneyland!  I can't wait! Plus we may try to go to a Baseball game! YAY! I bught Landon his swimsuit today! He will look so cute in it...even though I'm not going to put him in the beach water, we will play in the sand!
